These Terms govern your use of que (the "Service"), operated by MotheBuilder ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1.The Service
que is a QR-based virtual queue. Businesses create a queue; customers scan a QR code, join from their phone, and receive a permanent ticket number while their position, status, and estimated wait update live. Features may change, improve, or be removed over time.
2.Accounts
To run a queue you must create a business account with accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
3.Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, or deceptive;
- attempt to break, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
- scrape, resell, or misrepresent the Service; or
- use it to collect or send information you are not allowed to.
4.Your customers' data
If you run a queue, you are responsible for handling your customers' information lawfully — including having a lawful basis to collect a name or phone number and telling customers how it will be used. que processes that information on your behalf; see our Privacy Policy.
5.Notifications
"It's your turn" notifications are provided on a best-effort basis and depend on the customer's device, browser, and connection. We do not guarantee that any notification will be delivered, and you should not rely on them as the only way to manage a queue.
6.Availability and "as is"
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Service may experience downtime, maintenance, or delays, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
7.Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights in it except the limited right to use the Service as intended. The content you enter (your business details, services, and queue data) remains yours.
8.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9.Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends.
10.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
11.Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any disputes will be handled in the courts of Nigeria, unless the law that applies to you requires otherwise.
